RR 337 has been designated a number one scenic drive of Texas and is included in cross country bicycling maps, and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's Heart of Texas Nature Trail. |

Each year Medina, Texas is host to the Texas International Apple Festival held at harvest time, usually the last weekend in July. Don't blink or you'll miss Vanderpool, Texas, which consists of a US Post Office, Volunteer Fire Department and Lost Maples General Store. To continue on to Utopia, Texas take a left onto 187 and head south for 10 miles. To see Lost Maples State Park take a right and continue north on 187 for 4 miles. To continue the drive on RR 337 to Campwood, Texas take a right onto 187 for one mile and then turn left back onto RR 337, heading west. - Lost Maples State Park Campground. Camping facilities provided include restrooms with showers, picnic sites, primitive camping areas, a comfort station, campsites with water and electricity, and a trailer dump station. |
