Access to The Historic O'Keefe Ranch, BC, east side of highway access to Spallumcheen Golf and Country Club, BC. west side of highway. Established in 1867, O'Keefe Ranch gradually grew to encompass 8,094 ha (20,000 ac), which included a general store/post office (the first post office in the Okanagan), blacksmith shop and church in addition to many other buildings. Summerland attractions; Summerlands's Ornamental Gardens, Sumac Ridge Estate Winery, Trout Creek Canyon Trestle, which showcase the history of the old Kettle Valley Railway line built from 1910-1915. Summerland is also home to the Kettle Valley Steam Railway. The Kettle Valley Steam Railway is a operating heritage railway. East of highway. This park has a wonderful day-use/picnic area, with some 90 picnic tables and 500m of fine sand beach, that is very popular with area residents. There are five adjoining parking lots for 200 cars. There is a separate parking area for trailers and RVs

East of highway. There is parking for 41 vehicles. 15 tables, some with BBQ attachments. The lawn slopes gently to the rocky beach. There is a large sandy beach to the north of the picnic area.

Soorimpt BC Provincial Park
Soorimpt is picnic area and has a boat launch with a paved L-shaped turn-around area and a gently sloping double wide concrete ramp. Parking is provided for vehicles towing trailers with lots of room to maneuver. Four picnic tables on open lawn overlook the lake and the boat launch. There are no shade trees in the area which is right beside the highway. The picnic area with five tables is right beside the boat launch. Two small sandy beaches are along an otherwise rocky shoreline.

Kickininee BC Provincial Park
East of highway. Kickininee has two tiers. From the paved 44 spot parking area, there are four picnic tables situated on open lawn shaded by deciduous trees. A wide gravel path leads down to the next level consisting of a flat bench of land overlooking the lake with nine picnic tables. Another shorter, steeper path leads down to the rocky beach. All of the tables have an excellent view of the lake.

West side of highway. The Vaseux Lake Nature Trust operates the Vaseux Wildlife Centre and Boardwalk.

Vaseux Lake BC Provincial Park Campground
West side of highway. Vaseux Lake BC Provincial Park Camping facilities; 12 vehicle campsites, hand water pump, pit toilets, fire rings, No sani-station/dump facilities. This park has a day-use/picnic area located off the Canadian Wildlife Service, Environment Canada Waterfowl Sanctuary parking lot. Excellent wildlife viewing area by Highway 97 between Oliver and Okanagan Falls. Best viewing in spring and fall. Look for mountain goats, California big horn sheep and a wide variety of bird species. Trails provide access to the nearby Canadian Wildlife Service, Environment Canada Waterfowl Sanctuary. The operator maintains the park from April 1- Oct 31. The park is open in the winter without any services or fees. There is exceptional bass fishing in this very weedy lake. No motors are allowed on the lake.

Haynes Point BC Provincial Park
East of highway 400 mtrs. This small park offers 41 vehicle accessible campsites, seven of which are double sites. All of the sites are reservable from May 15 to Sept 15. The maximum length of stay is seven days due to the size and popularity of the campground. The campground is open from March 28 to October 31 with full services. The gate to the campground and day-use areas is locked during the off season. The boat launch remains open year round. There is a wilderness boardwalk within the park.
