Access to Fort Laramie National Historical Site and Guernsey State Park with campground.
Fort Laramie Wyoming National Historical Site, WY; was established as a private fur trading fort in 1834. It was later taken over by the US Army in 1849. The Fort was a important stopping point on the Oregon Trail and Mormon Trail. The Fort grounds are open from 8:00 am until dusk every day. Access to Wyoming, Guernsey State Park. Camping Facilities There are 7 campgrounds. Campgrounds include comfort stations, picnic tables, fire grills and drinking water. There is a RV Dump station located at the south entrance to Guernsey State Park. The park has a Museum and hiking trails.
