Wenatchee Confluence State Park - Photo taken from Wenatchee Confluence State Park
South of highway. Wenatchee Confluence State Park is a 197-acre year-round camping park at the confluence of the Wenatchee and Columbia rivers. Situated at the edge of town, the park has two personalities. The North Confluence is urban and recreational, while the South Confluence is a wetland natural area. Muskrat and beaver may be seen in the rivers here. The park has shaded, grassy areas, sports fields, a roped-off river swimming beach, a boat launch and walking access to the Horan Natural Area. The park has eight tent spaces, 51 utility spaces, one dump station, six restrooms (all ADA) and 16 showers (eight ADA). Maximum site length is 65 feet (may have limited availability). Utility sites have full hookups. All sites have a picnic table and campfire grill.

North to communities of Peshastin, Leavenworth. NOTE, north overlap of highway #97 & # 2 start/ finish at this point with highway # 2 heading west. North to Peshastin Pinnacles State Park. Day park picnic area. No campgrounds The park is a 34-acre desert park featuring a group of sandstone slabs and spires called 'the pinnacles.' Climbable spires reach 200 feet into the air. Rocks and trails provide views of surrounding orchards, the Enchantment Mountain Range, and the Wenatchee River valley. The park provides five unsheltered picnic tables and two vault toilets. Park visitors should bring their own water to the park.

North access to Lake Wenatchee State Park
Lake Wenatchee State Park is a 489-acre camping park with 12,623 feet of waterfront on glacier-fed Lake Wenatchee and the Wenatchee River. The park is bisected by the Wenatchee River, creating two distinct areas -- South Park, with areas for camping, swimming and horseback riding; and North Park, in a less developed, forested section, a quarter-mile walk from the lake. The park has eight tent spaces, 51 utility spaces, one dump station, six restrooms (all ADA) and 16 showers (eight ADA). Maximum site length is 65 feet (may have limited availability). Utility sites have full hookups. All sites have a picnic table and campfire grill

West to Interstate Highway #90, west to city of Seattle. West to Lake Easton State Park. Lake Easton State Park is a forested, 516-acre year-round camping park with 24,000 feet of freshwater access on the shores of Lake Easton in the Cascade Mountain foothills. The park has beautiful mountain views and hiking trails to explore in the summer and cross country and snowmobiling trails to enjoy in the winter. The park's location also allows for snowy winter-sport opportunities. The park has 95 tent spaces, 45 utility spaces, one dump station, four restrooms (three ADA) and four showers (two ADA). All sites are in a wooded setting. Most tent sites are near the Yakima River, and most RV spaces are near Lake Easton. The park can accommodate RV units up to 60 feet in select sites. Some sites will accommodate tip-outs.

Olmstead Place State Park is a 217-acre day-use park that features a working pioneer farm. The park hosts tours and school field trips. Pioneer artifacts are plentiful in the park, and many can be seen in action in the work of maintaining the farm. Picnic space and walking trails interweave with interpretive activities.

East to community of Moxee. Access to Yakima Sportsman State Park. Yakima Sportsman State Park is a 247-acre camping park created in 1940 by the Yakima Sportsman's Association to promote game management and the preservation of natural resources. The park is on the floodplain of the Yakima River and is an irrigated 'green zone' in an otherwise desert area. The park has a variety of deciduous trees that shade camping and picnic areas. One hundred and forty bird species have been identified in the park. Ponds lure fishers to the river. The park is a popular stay-over spot for travelers and visitors to events in the Yakima area, The park has 28 tent spaces, 37 utility spaces, one dump station, two restrooms (both ADA) and four showers (all ADA). Utility sites 1 through 16 are 60 feet long
