Echo Lake Inn & Inn at Waters Edge
Echo Lake Inn, a very old and classic Victorian built for summer visitors more than 100 years ago, is on the west side (see photo), and the Inn at Waters Edge is on the east side. Both are well known, excellent quality resorts. Also, there is a very nice lake front state park nearby. You can find it by turning east, going past the Inn at Waters Edge, continuing a few minutes and then turning left onto Scout Camp Road. Follow it a couple of minutes to the Plymouth State Park on the left. There are picnic tables, boats and canoes, a beach, etc. A day pass is $2.50 per person, a great bargain.
