The Knoll, Utah Elevation 6,100 feet. The dome of sandstone just east of this junction is called The Knoll, the high central point on the Big Flat (or Island-in-the-Sky) peninsula. The road straight ahead enters the Island-in-the-Sky District of Canyonlands, Utah National Park after 4.5 miles. SR 313 goes left (east) and enters Dead Horse Point State Park after 4 miles.
