Carrizo Mountains, Abajo Mountains, Bear Ears
The Carrizo Mountains (9,420 ft), in the northeastern corner of Arizona, are visible on the southeastern horizon. To the northwest are the Abajo Mountains (11,360 ft) and the Elk Ridge Mountains, crowned with the Bear Ears (8,508 ft), a landmark 40 miles west of the city of Blanding, Utah .
