Junction of State Highway #30 with United States Highway #89, near Garden City, Utah on the shores of Bear Lake, starts the Byway Laketown Scenic Byway (Bear Lakes Scenic Byway). The Bear lake, a natural freshwater lake on the Utah-Idaho border in the United States, is excellent for fishing, boating, and all water sports. It also contains cisco, a game fish found nowhere else in the world. It is the second largest natural freshwater lake in Utah.
