Ranch Road 337 (Camp Wood to Medina): Ranch Road 337 RR337 between Vanderpool and Leakey in an area known as the \"Swiss Alps of Texas\". The rugged terrain and elevations as high as 2100 feet above sea level makes this area popular with recreational motorcyclists and bicyclists as well as those who enjoy sightseeing. With tall, dense, mature stands of Ashe juniper mixed with Texas Oaks and Lacey Oaks along the steep-sided canyons, this stretch of RR337 has been designated as one of the most popular scenic highways in Texas.

Don't blink or you'll miss Vanderpool, Texas, which consists of a US Post Office, Volunteer Fire Department and Lost Maples General Store. To continue on to Utopia, Texas take a left onto 187 and head south for 10 miles. To see Lost Maples State Park take a right and continue north on 187 for 4 miles. To continue the drive on RR 337 to Campwood, Texas take a right onto 187 for one mile and then turn left back onto RR 337, heading west. - Lost Maples State Park Campground. Camping facilities provided include restrooms with showers, picnic sites, primitive camping areas, a comfort station, campsites with water and electricity, and a trailer dump station.
