Wall, South Dakota, a town in Pennington County, South Dakota, The town is most famous for Wall Drug Store, which opened as a small pharmacy during the Depression but eventually developed into a large roadside tourist attraction. At the Junction of United States Highway #14/Interstate Highway #90 with State Highway #240, begins the Badlands Loop Scenic Byway. Carved steep canyons and high cliffs, largest mixed-grass prairie preserved by the National Park Service, Natural contours of the Badlands escarpment, native grasslands complete with hundreds of species of plants and animals, are all some of many this byway has to offer to visitors.
