Our name itself means "Penn's Woods" and our public estate is just that, often mountainous and filled with a myriad of creatures, plants and natural wonders.
And, what's more - you're never more than 15 minutes away from one of our state parks, state forests or game lands. We invite you to explore all the natural splendor that Pennsylvania has to offer.

City of Galeton, Pennsylvania. Access to Lyman Run State Park - South of the highway. The 595-acre Lyman Run State Park is in scenic Potter County. A mixed northern hardwood forest of mostly maples and cherries surrounds the 45-acre Lyman Run Lake. Daggett Run and Lower campgrounds offer separate camping areas with a total of 35 RV and tent campsites. Each site contains a picnic table, fire ring and lantern hanger. Twenty-nine campsites have electricity. Six campsites are walk-ins. A sanitary dump station is in the Lower Campground.
