Across Highway 101 on the east side of the highway is the, Carl G. Washburne Memorial State Park Campground. access to the beach is a walking trail leading you under the highway to a five-mile sandy beach and a day-use area, to this wayside area. Camground facilities at the park: 56 full hookup (maximum site 45 feet); 2 electrical (withwater); 2 yurts; 7 walk-in tent; hiker/biker camp. The park has Walking trails, Hiking trail, Special events nature programs. Interpretive events, Showers, Dump station.
