Oregon highways are this site owner's favorite state highways to road trip in. Driving along Oregon highway 101 you'll discover on the most scenic drives in North America. Winding along the coast from Astoria, OR down to the Oregon/California border, this amazing Oregon highway passes dozens of beaches, rocky wave swept vistas, and numerous lovely Oregon coast towns. There is also the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area near Honeyman Memorial Park and numerous other dune areas along Oregon Highway 101. While the Oregon coastal drive is the most scenic route, there are numerous north south routes which while taking longer than the I-5 will bring you through some wonderful Oregon forests, farming areas, and by volcanoes. Crater Lake National Park, Oregon lies along the Volcanic Legacy Scenic Byway and is one of the most interesting interior Oregon scenic highways in the South.
