Oregon highways are this site owner's favorite state highways to road trip in. Driving along Oregon highway 101 you'll discover on the most scenic drives in North America. Winding along the coast from Astoria, OR down to the Oregon/California border, this amazing Oregon highway passes dozens of beaches, rocky wave swept vistas, and numerous lovely Oregon coast towns. There is also the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area near Honeyman Memorial Park and numerous other dune areas along Oregon Highway 101. While the Oregon coastal drive is the most scenic route, there are numerous north south routes which while taking longer than the I-5 will bring you through some wonderful Oregon forests, farming areas, and by volcanoes. Crater Lake National Park, Oregon lies along the Volcanic Legacy Scenic Byway and is one of the most interesting interior Oregon scenic highways in the South. In the north, driving along the Columbia river from Astoria towards Kennewick, WA, is an amazing drive. Enjoy an Oregon highway adventure and send us some pictures of your trip. Junction of Highway #6 Access to Three Capes Scenic Drive Route
This scenic drive follows a 40 mile route from its northern end and loops south, back to Highway 101. This route is used by cyclists/bikers and is a biker friendly route 'Please respect these folks' - Cyclists should use rear LED flashing lights as a safety measure.

Access to Moolack Beach, OR
The Beach is almost 8 km (5 mi) in length with the south end at Yaquina Head. Photo looking south at Moolack Beach from Yaquina Head Lighthouse. There are rooted stumps visible here, likely belonging to trees over 4,000 years ago. THere are several of these stumps visible at Moolack Beach.
