North Carolina state line at Newfound Gap in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park This road is continuing from Hwy 441 from Gatlinburg Tennessee. Newfound Gap is the state line between Tenessee and North Carolina. The Appalachian Trail crosses here, so you can 'hike' a short section of the 'AT'. There are also restrooms here. The scenery from here is fantastic!
