Description: Offering a close-up view of Louisiana's unique environment, the Creole Nature Trail travels through hundreds of thousands of acres of untouched wetlands. Drive through the beautiful scenery of Louisiana's gulf beaches, decorated with colorful wildflowers; look for birds, alligators, and all kinds of southwest Louisiana wildlife. The trail cuts through the marshlands of southern Calcasieu and Cameron parishes and hugs the coast of the Gulf of Mexico.
