Byway: Idaho - Salmon River Scenic Byway

Byway Description: This route offers travelers views of the main fork of the Salmon River from near its headwaters as well as views of the White Cloud, Lemhi and Bitterroot mountains and the Lost River.

Lost Trail Pass

Lost Trail Pass, is a mountain pass in the Rocky Mountains, on the border between Idaho and Montana in the Bitterroot Mountains. The pass is at an elevation of 7014 feet (2138 m) above sea level and United States Highway #93 passes through it. The Lost Trail Powder Mountain ski area is at the pass, immediately west of US-93. This is where Salmon River Scenic Byway ends.
