Description:
Yucca House National Monument is a large, unexcavated Ancestral Puebloan surface site. Yucca House is located in Southwest Colorado between the towns of Towaoc and Cortez. Currently, there are no facilities or fees at Yucca House.

Accessibility: Currently, Yucca House is not accessible by ADA standards.
Getting Around: Once at the parking area, enter the small corral through the gate, and use the stile over the far corral fence to enter the monument.

Directions to Yucca House National Monument
Plane: The closest airport is in Cortez, Colorado.
Car: Yucca House is 15 miles south of Cortez, Colorado. From Cortez, follow US 666 south 8.5 miles. Turn west (right) on Road B, a good dirt road identified only by a green street sign with white lettering. Turn north (right) on Road 20.5 and follow it through several jogs to a small group of buildings, including a white house with a red roof. You may encounter several closed gates while traveling on county roads. You can pass through them but please close them behind you so livestock does not escape. Across the road from the house is the parking lot to Yucca House.
Public Transportation There is no public transportation available to Yucca House.
