Byway: Colorado - Trail of the Ancients

Byway Description: A complex civilization built by the Anasazi flourished in this mesa and canyon country from about 200 BC to 1300 AD. Their reasons for abandoning the area are shrouded in mystery. This byway links crucial areas of preservation of a long-gone civilization.
