Byway: Colorado - Alpine Loop National Back Country Byway
Byway Description: This route winds its way to an elevation of 12,800 feet, crossing Engineer and Cinnamon Passes. The rugged scenery includes river meadows, alpine tundra, ghost towns, ore mills, abundant summer wildflowers and impressive fall colors.
Time to Allow: 4 to 6 hours
