Exit #333. Junction of Highway #191 North. North to communities of Chambers, Wild Ruin, Kagetoh, Ganado. Note: Highway #191 overlap of I40 ends at this point. North access to Hubbell Trading Post National Historic Site. Service off highway, fuel, diesel - South side of highway. North access to Canyon De Chelly National Monument. At the base of sheer red cliffs and in canyon wall caves are ruins of Indian villages built between AD 350 and 1300. Canyon de Chelly National Monument offers visitors the chance to learn about Southwestern Indian history from the earliest basketmakers to the Navajo Indians who live and farm there: Recreational Opportunities, Auto Touring, Camping, Hiking, Horseback Riding, Lodging, Picnic, Restaurant/Snack Bar, Museum/Visitor Center.
