Junction of Alaska Highway #9 'The Seward Highway'
There are two portions of the Sterling Highway that have been designated as Alaska's State Scenic Byway. Sterling Highway's northern segment connects Sterling Wye to Skilak Lake, Alaska. Sterling Highway's southern segment is found from Anchor Point, Alaska to the end of Homer Spit, Alaska. - Byway Attractions - Driveing along the ice blue-green Kenai Lake, Alaska until you get to Cooper Landing - Sportfishing on the Kenai and Russian Rivers - Kenai River, Alaska float trips and hiking along the historic Resurrection Trail - Cooper Landing Historical Society Museum.
