Oaxaca Mexico Highways

Oaxaca is rich in it's history and culture, where one of it's most important feature is the carefully preserved of the traditions and customs of old by the indigenous people of Oaxaca, the Zapotec and Mixtec cultures. Drive through Mexico 's important mountain chains and extensive green valleys, archaeological sites and an amazing ecological area along the Mexican coast that you will visit as you travel the highway through mangroves and Mexico beaches, as well as the beautiful bays of Huatulco and Puerto Escondido, where you can do all kinds of water sports.

Oaxaca is nicknamed "Land of the Seven Moles” because of it's large diversity of Mexican regional cuisine. There is an abundance of fruits and vegetables grown in the central area of the state and tropical fruits are grown in the north, while fish and shellfish dominate the cuisine of the south. Oaxaca is also worldwide famous for it's cheese.
