North to Village of Candle Lake, Access to Candle Lake Provincial Park Sandy Bay Campground. - The park area is beside a large lake, a clean and clear body of water featuring good-sized campgrounds on the east and west side, Candle lake is a great fishing lake, Candle Lake, SK; has about 7 km of beaches. Minowukaw, Waskateena and Sandy Bay rate among the top 10 inland beaches in Canada. - Camping: There is a Service Centre with hot showers and laundry facilities at the Sandy Bay campground The smaller Minowukaw Beach campground is located in the jack pine and aspen forest on the east side of the lake and now has its own Service Centre with showers.
