Prince Albert National Park
Access to Prince Albert National Park,all services lodging, camping,all activities. Prince Albert National Park protects a slice of the ‘boreal’ forest. It is also a meeting place or transition zone between the parkland and the northern forest. The park features many outstanding natural wonders and cultural treasures, including the only fully protected white pelican nesting colony in Canada, the isolated, lakeside cabin of conservationist Grey Owl and a free-ranging herd of plains bison.

Entering Lac La Ronge Provincial Park
South boundery of Lac La Ronge Provincial Park. Six campgrounds within the park and three adjacent to the park. The campgrounds have a range of services from rustic sites to serviced site with electricity, central water points, shower houses, beaches, playgrounds, picnic shelters, boat launches and docking. Lac la Ronge is approximately 1200 ft. above sea level with the lake draining out to the Churchill River through Rapid River which includes Nistowiak Falls. It's fed by various creeks and rivers, the main feeder streams include the Montreal, Nemeiben, and Nipekamew Rivers.

Highway Turnoff to La Ronge Town Center, Visitor information and Directions Center, access to La Ronge Provincial Park Campgrounds. Set just inside the rugged Canadian Shield about two and a half hours north of Prince Albert, Lac La Ronge park is situated in the heart of the storied Churchill River system, where singing voyageurs once transported furs to Hudson’s Bay.
