The Saint Lawrence River is the largest estuary in the world, flowing 3,058 kilometres (1,900 miles out of Lake Ontario at a location between Kingston, Ontario and Cape Vincent, New York. The river passes the communities of Gananoque, Brockville, Ogdensburg, Massena, Cornwall, Montreal, Trois-Rivières, and Quebec City before draining into the Gulf of Saint Lawrence.
