Junction of highway #3. Community of Pools Corner. Poole's Corner Provincial Park, south of highway. Pools Corner Provincial Park is a Day use park only. Services at highway. South to town of Montague. Pools Corner has a Provincial Information Centre, south of highway. East to Brundenell Provincial Park. Campground is located on Route 3, 5 km west of Georgetown, near Cardigan. The park is open from mid June to the first of October and features a kitchen shelter, hot showers (12), flush toilets (12), laundromat, activity programs and dumping station. Pets permitted on Leash Camping sites 52(u); 18(2w) and 25(5w). Brundell River provincial park is the largest in eastern Prince Edward Island. In addition it has 18-hole championship golf courses

Access to Panmure Island Provincial Park
|
East to Panmure Island Provincial Park, campground,22unser. 22 elec. sites. On Route 347, north of Gaspereaux. Panmure Island is open from mid June to mid September and offers a bay and ocean beach with lifeguards, laundromat, hot showers (8), flush toilets (13), kitchen shelter, fireplaces, supply store, dumping station, look-out tower, beach house with change rooms, canteen, boat launching area and interpretive programs. Pets permitted on leash.

East to Buffaloland Provincial Park. Located at community of Milltown Cross. on Route 4, 6 km south of Montague. Buffaloland is a day use park. Picnic tables are provided. The boardwalk leads to a wooden deck where display pedestals provide information about buffalo and white tailed deer. The deck overlooks a 100-acre enclosure where the herd of about 25 of these large and dramatic animals graze. The original buffalo were a gift to the Prince Edward Island government from the Province of Alberta. The park is open year round and admission is free.
