No campground. Located in the community of Gladstone, on Route 348, 3 km east of Murray River. Kings Castle, a day use park, is a magical place displaying a family of favourite storybook characters in statue form. Kings Castle is a terrific family location

Northumberland Provincial Park
South side of highway. Northumberland Provincial Park is on Route 4, 3 km east of the Wood Islands ferry. It is open from mid June to mid September and offers a lifeguarded ocean beach, clam digging, laundromat, hot showers (4), flush toilets (9), playground, kitchen shelter, forest trail, children's programs and a dumping station. Campers' store nearby. Pets permitted on leash. Accommodations: 22 unserv. 28 elec sites.

Wood Islands Ferry Terminal to Nova Scotia. Provincial Information Visitors Centre. Wood Island Provincial Park, no campground. Located off the Trans Canada highway, at the Wood Islands Ferry Terminal. Wood Islands is a day use park featuring playground equipment, an unsupervised beach, flush toilets, a boat ramp, picnic facilities and food services. Pets are permitted on leash
