Lunenburg, NS
Historic fishing and ship building town of Lunenburg, NS. Well know world-wide as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A real highlight of the #3 highway drive, make sure you have a few hours to walk around the town and the waterfront. Lots of little shops, restaraunts, Inns, great historic buildings. Attractions in Lunenburg: Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic; the Museum offers the fishing heritage of the Atlantic coast of Canada. The museum is housed in brightly painted red buildings, with floating vessels at wharfside. The historic Bluenose, is celebrated in an exhibit that contains the world's largest collection of Bluenose artifacts.- Knaut Rhuland House Museum; The Knaut-Rhuland House is a turn of the nineteenth century two and-a-half storey wooden Georgian structure - Capt.
