Battery Provincial Park South to Battery Provincial Park, campground. The Park is located on a hillside overlooking St. Peters Bay on the southeast coast of Cape Breton Island. The park is open from mid June until early September and offers a 53 site wooded hillside campground, open picnic area, and unsupervised beach. It also features archaelogical ruins of Fort Dorchester, an abandoned lime kiln, and an old farmstead.
