East to community of Goshen. Access to highway #316 to Salsman Provincial Park. Salsman Provincial Park is open from mid-June until early September. The park has 40 well manicured campsites, a picnic area, boat launch, and trailer dump station. The unsupervised beach is ideal for families to splash about. Although there are no electrical hookups, water and vault toilets are convienently located throughout the campground. Flush toilets and showers are available.

Sherbrooke, is home to the historical Sherbrooke Village. Mile by Mile staff visited this village and it is a must see. Sherbrooke Village depicts a typical Nova Scotian village from 1860 to pre-WW1. With approximately 80 buildings, over 25 of those open to the public, it is the largest Nova Scotia Museum site. Built on an economy of ship building, lumbering and gold mining, Sherbrooke Village reflects Nova Scotia as it was during its industrial boom in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Visit a place where time has stood still.

Although there are no electrical hookups, water and vault toilets are convienently located throughout the campground. Accessible flush toilets and showers facilities are also available

The Halifax Citadel dominates the skyline of Nova Scotia's capital. A massive, star-shaped fortification that is considered one of Canada's most important historic sites. The present citadel, completed in 1856, is the fourth fort built on this site after the British founded Halifax in 1749 as one of four principal overseas naval stations in the British Empire.
