On the shore of the Northumberland Strait, Amherst Shore Provincial Park offers an attractive setting for camping, walking, and swimming. This park, like others along this coast, offers some of the warmest saltwater swimming north of the Carolinas.
The park is open from mid-June until mid-October and offers a 45-site woodland campground, picnic areas, showers/comfort station, and a walking trail leading to the unsupervised beach area
