82.9	51.5	Battery Provincial Park	South to Battery Provincial Park, campground. The Park is located on a hillside overlooking St. Peters Bay on the southeast coast of Cape Breton Island. The park is open from mid June until early September and offers a 53 site wooded hillside campground, open picnic area, and unsupervised beach. 83.0	51.6	St. Peters Canal National Historic Site	Community of St. Peters. St. Peters Canal is an 800 metre canal linking the Atlantic Ocean with Bras d'Or Lake. Work started on the canal in 1854 and was completed in 1869. The canal also boasts the only functioning lock system in Nova Scotia. View interpretive exhibits, enjoy a picnic lunch, or experience the canal by pleasure craft.
