Porters Lake Provincial Park
North of highway. Porters Lake Provincial Park is open from mid-May until mid-October. The park has 166 woodland campsites, a picnic area, boat launch, amphitheater, and trailer dump station. There are no electrical hookups, water and vault toilets are convienently located throughout the campground. Flush toilets and showers are available.

Access to Lawrencetown Beach. This popular sand and cobble beach on the Atlantic coast is noted for its surf. Ramped boardwalks, change house, toilets, canteen. Stong rip tides and currents are common swimmers must excercise caution. Supervised swimming areas.

South to community of Cow Bay, Rainbow Haven Provincial Park. The park is 8 km (5 mi.) east of Cow Bay. The park is known for its large sand and cobble beach at the mouth of Cole Harbour. Board walks, change house, toilet facilities, canteen. Supervised.
