Bedford is a pretty community at the head of the Bedford Basin. It boasts great views of the Basin, sailing, unique shops and services. A very nice place to live. Lion's Park, located on the shores of the Bedford Basin has a breathtaking view of the sailboats in the Bedford Yacht Club.

Historic little town on the Shubenacadie Canal. Post office , Museum, gas, Convenience stores. Hwy. #2 heads North on the famous Waverley Road, one of the best known drives in Nova Scotia.

major intersection, Inn on the Lake; a great place to stay and eat.

A small and pretty community centered on the Shubenacadie canal system and two of the lakes that make up the canal system; Lake Thomas and Flechers lake. Services include fast food, gas, grocery store, restaurants, etc.

Lake Thomas, near the village of Waverley. Hwy #2 follows along the shores of Lake Thomas, Fletchers lake and Grand Lake, three lakes of the Shubenacadie Canal system. Small recreation boats are a common site on these lakes.

69.9 43.4 Intersection, exit to Hwy 102 and Mastodon Ridge
1 km north will take you to Mastodon Ridge. Nova Scotia Showcase, museum, mini-putt, tourist information, gift shops, mini-golf, KFC, Tim Hortons, Dairy Queen and gas stations. Worth a stop just to see the giant Mastadon statue and the views of the Shubenacadie river. Stand half way between the Equator and the North Pole!

Brookfield is well known for being an open and flat course, but a small brook that winds challenge time and time again. In addition, several strategically placed bunkers, trees water hazards add to the character of the course.
