West to city of Truro. North to Town of Pictou, community of Caribou & the Prince Edward Island Ferry Terminal. Caribou/Munroes Island Provincial Park. The park is open from mid-June until mid-October offering a 92-site campground, picnic areas, and an unsupervised beach. There is a walking trail along the beach out to the Island.

Junction of Highway #4 The Fleur-de-lis / Marconie Trailway

East to Community of St. Peters. East to city of Sidney. East to St. Peters Canal National Historic Site of Canada.
St. Peters Canal is an 800 metre canal linking the Atlantic Ocean with Bras d'Or Lake. Work started on the canal in 1854 and was completed in 1869. The canal also boasts the only functioning lock system in Nova Scotia. View interpretive exhibits, enjoy a picnic lunch, or experience the canal by pleasure craft.
