      Community of Stock Cove, NL. South to Lockston Path Provincial Park. The park has 56 campsites with some nestled along a winding river. Each site has a picnic table, garbage can, fire place and space for your vehicle. A wheel chair accessible comfort station with laundry, shower facilities and dumping station is located near campsite 51. Twenty sites are open, June 2001, with water and electric services. Drinking water taps and pit-toilets are located conveniently throughout the park. South to community of Trinity. The C B C television series Random Passage was filmed in the Trinity Area.

      Community of Kings Cove, NL, (Athens of the North)
      North of highway. King's Cove, NL, has steep cliffs that frame the early fishing station dating from the 1700s. Attractions in King's Cove: The new Kings Cove Museum, and the King's Cove Lighthouse built in 1893. The lighthouse was built after some fifty shipwrecks occurred in Bonavista Bay. It was constructed of pre-cast iron shipped from Birmingham, England. The first lighthouse in Newfoundland to be fitted with a revolving kerosene light system from Sweden, it was visible from 14 nautical miles.
