Entering the City of Quesnel, BC. All services, Junction of Highway # 26. East to Wells, BC, Barkerville, BC, Historic Town, Bowron Lake, BC, Provincial Park., Visitor Information Direction Site at highway junction. EDITOR'S NOTE: 'A must see. Barkerville's Historic Town, is the largest historic Site in British Columbia'. Bowron Lake Provincial Park is a large wilderness area situated on the western slopes of the Cariboo Mountain Range. The world-renowned Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit encompasses a 116 km chain of lakes, waterways and connecting portages. Camping: 25 (and 100 wilderness sites on the canoe circuit). Cold water taps, pit toilets, no day-use or picnic facilities. BC Parks do not have electrical hook-ups.
