      Ten mile Provincial Park, Ten Mile Lake is a popular recreational destination for local residents and visitors. It offers a large picnic area, three sandy beaches, a boat launch, and great fishing. The Lakeside campground consists of 60 sites, 6 of which are double sites. The Touring Campground consists of 82 sites, 21 of which are double and 22 of which are pull through sites. Water, flush toilets, A sani-station/dump is available $. BC Parks do not have electrical hook-ups.

Barkerville's Historic Town, is the largest historic Site in British Columbia'. Bowron Lake Provincial Park is a large wilderness area situated on the western slopes of the Cariboo Mountain Range. The world-renowned Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit encompasses a 116 km chain of lakes, waterways and connecting portages. Camping: 25 (and 100 wilderness sites on the canoe circuit). Up-river the Fraser was swift and strong, but sternwheelers could travel for 400 miles from Soda Creek. Men and supplies embarked here in the 1860's for the fabulous Caribou goldfields. Later as the G.T.P. Railway was forged across the province, nine paddle wheelers formed a lifeline to the north.

Big Bar Lake Provincial Park comprises approximately 330 hectares of rolling landscape situated on the shore of a large lake, and scattered with small lakes and ponds. The park is couched in typical Cariboo ranching country on the southern edge of the Fraser Plateau. Camping: There are 2 campgrounds; Lakeside Campground and the Upper Campground. The Lakeside Campground consists of 25 sites that overlook the lake. There are 10 high density sites that can accommodate large rigs. There is a day-use/picnicking area, water taps, pit toilets, no sani-station/dump facilities, boating, fishing. Cross Country Ski Trails.
