Highway #3 (Crowsnest Pass) overlaps #93 at this junction. The Crowsnest Pass is the southernmost pass over the Rocky Mountains in Canada. The towns of Coleman, Blairmore, Frank, Hillcrest and Bellevue, which are situated along the Crowsnest Pass.

Norbury Lake Provincial Park turnoff. Access to campground. The Steeples, a distinctive feature of the Hughes Range of the Rocky Mountains, stands clear against the sky to the east of this lightly wooded area. Just south of Fort Steele, the park encompasses Peckham's Lake and fronts on Norbury Lake. Beach areas, water sports and pleasant walking trails. Rainbow trout in Peckham's Lake. Power boats are prohibited. The Kootenay Fish Hatchery at Wardner is a short distance away. Total Number of Vehicle Accessible Campsites: 46. This park has a day-use/picnic area. with pit toilets. No sani-station/dump facilities.

West side of highway. Kikomun Creek Provincial Park, preserves an example of Interior Douglas fir and Ponderosa pine forest and grassland habitat. Paved roads within this family oriented park are conducive to biking. Total Number of Vehicle Accessible Campsites: 105. Pit and flush toilets, with a sani-station. There is day-use/picnic area.
