    #3 Highway turns shortly before this and becomes just highway #3. The Crowsnest Pass, elevation 1,358 m; is a high mountain pass across the Continental Divide of the Canadian Rockies on the Alberta/British Columbia border. The Crows Nest Pass, is located in southeast British Columbia and southwest Alberta, and is the southernmost rail and highway route through the Canadian Rockies

    Roadside Highway Turnout - Hope Slide Rest Area
    Visit the historic Hope Slide. Two interpretive signs tell of the story of the massive Hope rock slide. The Hope Slide was one of the largest landslides ever recorded in Canada.

          Another lovely spot alongside the Similkameen River. The Similkameen and Sumallo Rivers have dolly varden, and rainbow and cutthroat trout. Watch for good casting spots as Highway 3 runs beside both rivers on its journey through the park.
