Access to Kleanza Creek Provincial Park Campground
South of highway. Kleanza Creek Provincial Park is located amongst the forests and rock canyons in the Coast Mountains. Occupying frontage on the Skeena River and on both sides of Kleanza Creek, the park is of historical significance. Kleanza means gold in the Gitxsan language and it was this metal that influenced the early history of the park site. Placer mining for gold was first carried out in the creek in the late 1890?s. This park offers 32 vehicle accessible shaded/treed campsites in Kleanza Creek Campground. The campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis and campsite reservations are not accepted. There are 2 double sites and 2 tent sites. The campsites can accommodate RV?s. Parking is available for extra vehicles. Campground Dates with Full Services and Fees: May 10 - September 15.

NOTE; Overlap of highway #37 ends at this point and turns south to Communities of Lakeise, BC and Kitimat, BC; Kitimaat Village, B C. South access to Lakelse Lake Provincial Park Campground. Approximately 20 km south of Terrace. Lakelse Lake Provincial Park is situated in the Skeena River Watershed and is surrounded by the mountains of the Kitimat Range. Camping: The campground is half paved and half gravel and there are 16 double sites. The campsites can accommodate RV?s. Campground Dates with Full Services and Fees: May 1 - September 30.

Access to Ferry Island Municipal Campground
South side of highway. 1/4 km. Nice campground. Close to City of Terrace business area. Campground offers free firewood. The campground has 103 campsites of which 25 have electrial hookups. There is no R V sewer dump. A sewer dump is located west aprox. 1 km along highway #16 at the visitor information center south side.
