Luduc #1 Discovery Well Historical Site is where the oil boom in Alberta started. Visitor Information, Campgrounds. Home of The Canadian Petroleum Hall of Fame Interpretive Center. Stand on the floor of a 1940’s drilling rig to touch a part of Alberta’s rich petroleum heritage. The Centre contains artifacts, photos, archives, interpretive displays and oilfield equipment.
