The Fuchs Wildlife Exhibit is believed to be one of the largest taxidermy exhibit created by one man in North America. Welcome to Cold Lake, AB. Cold Lake is in the transition zone from the Aspen Parkland region to the Boreal mixed wood forest. The area surrounding the city consists mostly of farmland. The Canadian Forces Cold Lake Air Weapons Range is located to the north of the city. Cold Lake is also home to the Cold Lake Air Cadet Summer Training Centre. Other attractions - Cold Lake Car Show - Cold Lake Aqua Days - Cold Lake Silver Buckle Stampede.
