MarWayne's economy is based on agriculture and ranching, and the oil and gas sector.The Alberta Saskatchewan provincial border runs north to south, through the centre of Lloydminster, AB. Lloydminsterthe was founded in 1903 by the Barr Colonists, who came directly from the United Kingdom. Attractions in Lloydminster, AB. The Barr Colony Heritage Cultural Centre, features a public art gallery, antique museum, wildlife display, heavy oil science centre, and gift shop.- The Richard Larsen Museum - Community and Travelling Exhibitions Art Galleries - The Fuchs Wildlife Exhibit. The Fuchs Wildlife Exhibit is believed to be one of the largest taxidermy exhibit created by one man in North America. The display features mounted birds and large animasls.- The OTS Heavy Oil Science Centre, contains information about producing, transporting, and refining heavy oil.

Welcome to Cold Lake, AB. Cold Lake is in the transition zone from the Aspen Parkland region to the Boreal mixed wood forest. The area surrounding the city consists mostly of farmland. The Canadian Forces Cold Lake Air Weapons Range is located to the north of the city. Cold Lake is also home to the Cold Lake Air Cadet Summer Training Centre. Other attractions - Cold Lake Car Show - Cold Lake Aqua Days - Cold Lake Silver Buckle Stampede.
